An exhibitionproject with event ambience, from the 22nd to the 24th of june

From friday the 22nd to sunday 24th of june, twelve artists will intervene in and outside of the exhibition space Espace Public>. In close neighbourhood to the chinese, in front of the Centre Pompidou, the visitor can participate in «Your name written in German», aproject by Eric Carstensen, or take home a Marian appearance from Simone Kurz. Das Deutsche Handwerk shall apply Berlin landmarks onto the gallerywall. Immediately after executed a haircut, Markus Häberlin will felt the donated hair in the World-Hairglobe - a big ball, consisting entirely of hair, that came into existance in 1995 and has been growing ever since.
The six Swiss and six German artists are mostly showing recent works, influenced by their stipend based artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. This is also the location for saturday night´s live event with the DJ´s flexin & fly robin from Zürich (Monica Germann and Daniel Lorenzi). Here the walls of the parking lot shall be illuminated by huge videoprojections by all artists. Underneath projections concrete awnings, lushly decorated with baroque ornaments, Copa & Sordes will be offering an exotic roostbrew in their Kavabar, while Georgette Maag shall be sending Swiss jodels across the rooftops of Paris.
